Job Summary

Location:

Kalamazoo, MI 49009. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gate Attendant to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. The Gate Attendant will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the facility, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and property. This position is available as full-time, part-time, and evening/third shift.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points at the facility gate.
• Verify identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate logs of all vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and answering inquiries.
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management promptly.
• Ensure gate and surrounding area are clean, organized, and secure.
• Assist with directing traffic and parking as needed.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in security, customer service, or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This position requires standing for long periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The Gate Attendant will be the first point of contact for visitors and must maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
