Overview

DK Security is Michigan’s fastest growing security company. Established in 1995, we began as an investigations firm and expanded to provide uniform security, event staff security, loss prevention services, and more. • Valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License and Driver’s License; firearm and full duty belt provided at no cost.
• Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent (GED). If 21+, must hold Michigan CPL or LEOSA cardholder to perform armed security work.
• No felony convictions. No misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, controlled substances, or two or more alcohol related offenses.
• Pass drug screening (including marijuana) at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Pass physical agility test within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter; PAT includes sprinting, sit‑ups, push‑ups, and a 1.5‑mile run.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, use hands/fingers for keys, tools; stay alert and work indoors or outdoors all seasons; be able to hear conversations in noisy environments.
• Must have clean driving record if driving company vehicles or own vehicle for work activities; less than 3 moving violations in 3 years, fewer than 2 at‑fault accidents, no major violations.
• Ready to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Physically and mentally sound, able to remain alert during 8–12 hour shifts; able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Must adhere to company Uniform and Appearance policy.

• Hourly pay: $19.89
• Full Time – Wednesday to Sunday 0800‑1600;
  Full Time – Various Days 1600‑0000; ACA Full Time – Various Days 0000‑0800.

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Guard posts at the entry/exit points of the local base.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of interior and exterior to ensure a safe environment.
• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
• Check employee, vendor, and visitor identifications.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages, and activities.
• Follow site‑specific post guidelines.
• Document daily activities and report all incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
