Garage Door Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance for overhead doors, ensuring customer satisfaction with each repair. You'll be interacting with customers on a daily basis across all of our service areas, so you must possess excellent customer service skills. A person with experience using power tools and a fundamental knowledge of how electrical systems are wired and connected would be an ideal candidate for this position.

Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus if you have prior garage door technician experience.

Total Compensation: $21 to $26 an Hour + Commission + Profit Sharing (Bonus Checks)

• Attend meetings, follow all company policies, and participate in decision-making
• Use software to take notes, create quotes, and send invoices
• Attend appointments within the window that has been given to the client
• Provide a complete evaluation and precise diagnosis of any issues with the current system, after which present the customer with their options
• Accurately measure openings for installation and site checks for bigger jobs

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
• Working knowledge of electrical wiring and connections
• Must be able to use a measuring tape along with math and problem-solving skills
• You must have excellent customer service skills for this position
• Must have great communication, listening, and teamwork skills

$21 - $26 hourly + commission
