Compensation$25 – $30 per hour.
PurposeWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Flooring Installer to support high‑quality flooring installations across a variety of commercial projects. The Flooring Installer is responsible for installing multiple flooring types, preparing surfaces, ensuring accuracy and durability, and maintaining a safe and professional jobsite environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install various types of flooring including tile, wood, carpet, and specialty materials
- Perform floor preparation tasks such as leveling, sanding, and surface repair
- Ensure all installations meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and durability
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring correctness and cost‑effective execution
- Arrive on time and ready to work at assigned job sites
- Follow instructions and communicate clearly with field leaders
- Cooperate with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed
- Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner
- Maintain a productive workflow with minimal downtime
- Inspect completed work and report any issues to the Field Leader or Superintendent
- Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions
- Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and jobsite conditions
- Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards
- Complete additional tasks as assigned to support project success
- Proficiency with flooring tools, materials, and installation techniques
- Basic knowledge of floor leveling and surface preparation
- Strong math skills and ability to read measurements accurately
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Dependable, safety‑conscious, and professional in demeanor
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools (power and specialty tools provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and ladder climbing
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Must pass pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation required to travel between job sites
