HVAC Sheet Metal Installer (Commercial Construction)

- Installation of sheet metal duct and related equipment from start to finish
- Understand plans, specifications and scopes of work, layout and measuring of duct systems
- Installation of commercial HVAC Systems, including AHUs, RTUs, knowledge of RTU's, fans, and related components
- Exhibit good problem solving with minimal supervision
- Understand and helps meet construction schedules/deadlines
- Follow and adhere to the safety rules and regulations appropriate to various projects
- Operate various power and hand tools as needed
- Complete small and medium sized jobs independently (example: box stores, office buildings, & restaurants)
- Review installation instructions on simple to complex equipment and ensure proper installation.
- Ask questions and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Effectively coordinate equipment deliveries including hoisting, equipment rental, and site logistics.
- Maintain jobsites in neat and organized manner, keeping tools and equipment secure and accounted for.
- Minimum 3-4 years field experience
- Must be punctual, self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess a positive attitude
- Able to read and understand installation, operation manuals, and specifications to ensure proper installation and function of systems
- Familiar with commercial equipment
- Must be reliable, efficient, & determined
- Safety trained and safety conscious

Job Type: Full-time Wage Range: $27-$44 /hr (based on experience)
