Role
The Grateful Patient Fundraiser is a relationship-driven development professional responsible for helping build and grow Bronson Health Foundation’s grateful patient fundraising program. Reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts & Legacy Giving, this role plays a key part in identifying, engaging, cultivating, and stewarding patients and families who have experienced exceptional care and are inspired to give back through philanthropy.
This position partners closely with physicians, nurses, clinical leaders, and Foundation colleagues to create meaningful donor experiences that connect gratitude for care with philanthropic impact. The Grateful Patient Fundraiser will manage a portfolio of prospects and donors capable of making annual, mid-level, and future major gifts while helping establish scalable strategies, processes, and partnerships that strengthen the Foundation’s long‑term fundraising pipeline.
This is a highly collaborative and externally focused role that requires emotional intelligence, professionalism, relationship‑building skills, and sensitivity in working with patients and families in a healthcare environment.
