As a First Student Part Time Paratransit Van Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the passengers you transport.

• Are at least 21 years old
• Must have chauffeur license (we can offer guidance on how to obtain)

• Safely transport community members and neighbors to and from appointments, errands and everything in between.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist citizens while entering the vehicle and with mobility aids.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with passengers, staff, and dispatch about behavior or delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.

This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
