Materials Technician (PRN/Variable Shift) – Kalamazoo

• Provide supply chain services, including inventory and replenishment, receiving and distribution, equipment management, and mail center duties.
• Maintain supply and linen inventory, perform accurate PAR level counts, and monitor expiration dates and package integrity.
• Verify, retrieve, and distribute supplies, materials, and equipment to requested departments and off‑site locations as needed.
• Organize and monitor supplies to ensure sterility is maintained and usage is controlled.
• Work independently, manage time effectively, and follow standards while paying close attention to detail.
• Provide outstanding customer service to customers and team members via phone and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Communicate in a manner that reflects the organization’s mission, values, and service standards.
• Use technology and the Materials Management Information Systems accurately.
• Maintain a safe workplace by keeping work areas free of hazards and reporting safety concerns.
• Use proper body mechanics and personal protective equipment when lifting or moving equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of PAR inventory and replenishment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate accountability, initiative, and urgency.
• Strong math, counting, and analytical skills.
• Capability to move quickly throughout the hospital on stat calls.
• Organizational, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Positive interpersonal skills with customers and team members.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in varied situations.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and insurability through the employer’s carrier (may be required depending on duties).

• Variable time type, part‑time.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 10.
• Position: PRN/Variable Shift.
