Charge Bookkeeper

Position Summary

Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator. Full‑time opportunity in a respected local accounting firm.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The Full‑Charge Bookkeeper will manage the firm’s bookkeeping and payroll functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records
• Prepare quarterly and year‑end payroll reports
• Process and prepare 1099 forms
• Track and record depreciation schedules
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions as needed
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive financial information

Previous experience as a Full‑Charge Bookkeeper required.

• Public accounting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of:
• Quick Books Desktop
• Quick Books Online
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be bondable

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
