Board Coordinator
Pay: $20.63 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
The Board Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting board and public meetings while providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support. This role ensures efficient and compliant board operations by attending meetings and hearings, maintaining accurate documentation, scheduling activities, and serving as a resource to the public and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support board meetings, public hearings, and related events.
- Attend meetings and hearings to ensure proper documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain meeting records, agendas, minutes, and supporting documents.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and board-related activities.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to board members and staff.
- Deliver excellent customer service and public assistance in person, by phone, and through written communication.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is organized and readily accessible.
- Operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and fax machines.
- Assist with various office projects and departmental needs as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of office or administrative experience required.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience and a professional demeanor.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administrative and technical proficiency.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the office environment.
- Ability to use computers, phones, fax machines, and other standard office equipment.
