What You'll DoAs a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. You will help customers understand their vehicle's needs, recommend necessary maintenance and repairs, and ensure an exceptional experience from write-up to delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers and establish a professional, friendly relationship
Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns
Listen carefully to customers and identify their vehicle needs
Recommend maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer recommendations, technician findings, and customer concerns
Clearly explain recommended services, pricing, and timelines
Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle inspections and repairs
Provide customers with regular updates throughout the repair process
Obtain appropriate authorization for additional repairs
Review completed work with customers and explain repairs performed
Maintain strong follow-up with customers
Build long-term customer relationships and repeat business
Meet or exceed individual and department sales and CSI goals
Maintain accurate records and follow dealership processes
Help create a positive, professional, and productive service department
What We're Looking For We want someone who is driven, dependable, personable, and comfortable asking for the business.
Ideal candidates will have:
Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent listening and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to confidently explain automotive services to customers
Sales-minded attitude with a focus on customer needs
Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts personnel, managers, and customersA valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Willingness to learn and continuously improve
Automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with strong customer service and sales skills.

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
Ability to frequently move throughout the service drive, customer areas, and dealership
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and occasionally climb steps as needed
Ability to use a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment
Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds
Ability to work in or around areas where vehicles are being moved and serviced
Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying temperatures as business needs require
