Thispositionplaysakeyroleinmanagingallaspectsoftheconstructionjobsite,ensuringprojectsarecompletedsafely,efficiently,onschedule,andtothehighestqualitystandards.
The Superintendentworkscloselywith Project Managers ,Owners,Subcontractors,Foremen,andcrewmembersthroughouttheconstructionprocess.
- Planningandcoordinatingconstructionjobsiterequirements
- Orderingandmanagingrequiredsuppliesandmaterials
- Trackingjobsiteproductiononadailyandweeklybasis
- Supervising,training,guiding,anddirectingForemenandjobsitecrews
- Maintainingpositiverelationshipswith Owners,Subcontractors,andprojectstakeholders
- Overseeingqualitycontrolandjobsiteproductivity
- EnsuringcompliancewithjobsitesafetystandardsandOSHAregulations
- Organizingandmaintainingprojectdocumentation,including reports,receipts,shippingtickets,andrelatedpaperwork
- Workingdirectlywith Forementomonitorprojectprogressandprovidejobsiteupdates
- Assistingwithcarpentryworkandotherconstructionactivitiesasneeded
- Performinghousekeepingdutiesandmaintainingaclean,organizedjobsite
- Assistingwithdemolitionandsitepreparationactivitiesasrequired
- Previousconstructionandsupervisory/Foremanexperiencerequired
- Strongknowledgeofqualitycontrol,cost control,andjobsitesafetypractices
- Understandingofbuildingcodes,studlayout,roughframing,andblueprintreading
- Proficiencyinbuildingconstruction,includingconcretework,roughcarpentry,finish carpentry,andotherconstructiontrades
- KnowledgeofOSHAconstructionregulationsandsafetyrequirements
- Strong math,analytical,and problem-solving skills
- Abilitytotrain,mentor,anddevelopteammembers
- Excellentcommunicationandleadershipskills
- Abilitytoeffectivelymanagemultipletasksandprioritiesinafast-paced environment
