Full‑Time Teller, Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a full‑time teller on behalf of a valued local client. We are seeking a customer‑focused and detail‑oriented individual to join a dynamic financial services team. This position plays a key role in delivering outstanding service while accurately handling a variety of financial transactions.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

As a Teller, you will serve as a front‑line representative, creating a positive and professional experience for every customer. This role combines transaction processing with relationship‑building by identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate financial solutions. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service & Relationship Building
- Welcome customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Build rapport and create a positive, respectful experience
- Listen actively to customer needs and provide helpful solutions or referrals
- Maintain a calm and professional approach in all interactions
- Use a structured conversation approach to understand needs and recommend services
- Transaction Processing
- Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments
- Balance cash drawer daily within established limits
- Assist with common account‑related services such as check orders, stop payments, and address updates
- Handle incoming and outgoing transactions, including wires and deposits
- Cash Handling & Operations
- Maintain accurate cash levels and support cash handling procedures
- Prepare and organize cash and coin shipments
- Assist with ATM or vault balancing as needed
- Follow all required documentation and dual‑control processes
- Accuracy & Problem Resolution
- Research and resolve transaction discrepancies promptly
- Maintain detailed records of balancing and adjustments
- Escalate issues when necessary to ensure resolution
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks
- Compliance & Security
- Follow established policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information
- Comply with all regulatory and compliance requirements
- Identify and report suspicious or unusual activity
- Team Support
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
- Provide backup support for reception and customer flow as needed
- Participate in training, coaching, and ongoing development
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
- Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a structured environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with 10‑key entry
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain strict cash controls
- Must be bondable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
