Job DescriptionDEPARTMENT AND LOCATION OF JOB:
Information Technology, Blake Hall, FVCC Kalispell Campus
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to Work Study eligible FVCC Students (as determined by Financial Aid), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
START DATE:
This position will start Fall Semester 2025
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:
Academic Calendar Year 2025/2026
WORK SCHEDULE:
Flexible schedule between Monday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; may work up to 19 hours per week.
DRESS CODE:
Casual wear with appropriate coverage
POSITION PURPOSE/ROLE:
Under minimal supervision, supports the Education Computer Labs
POSITION DUTIES:
- Cleans and maintains cleanliness of computer lab environment;
- Assists the occasional student with their technical questions
- Supplies and Maintains paper in printer; and
- May perform other like duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester, and
- Ability to work under a minimal level of supervision and be self-motivated, and
- Possesses basic computer skills, and
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and employees, and
- Ability to follow direction and procedures

Communication, critical thinking, time management, customer service, professionalism

Practical competence, effective communication, critical thinking, time management, collaboration, professionalism
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.
- Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.
- Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.
- Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule, effective communication/interpersonal skills, and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.
