Field/Service Technician
Sr. Field Technician – Montana (East of Butte & North of Billings)
Supports and strengthens our network operations by managing sites in the specified regions, serving as a technical leader who drives network performance, leads outage resolution efforts, and mentors the next generation of technicians.
Job Responsibilities- Provide technical direction and support to improve network performance and resolve outages within and beyond the immediate team.
- Lead key projects and initiatives, guiding junior technicians and reporting progress and challenges effectively.
- Identify and develop process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities, recommending implementation to management.
- Create training materials and facilitate training sessions to maintain and enhance team technical skills and knowledge.
- Also responsible for other duties/projects assigned by business management as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred).
- 4–7 years – Experience in field operations and maintenance, with a proven track record of success.
- 4–7 years – Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Radio Frequency Engineering (Required).
- Nokia RAN equipment and Ceragon Microwave Equipment experience (Required).
- Electronics (Required)
- Expert operational knowledge and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC–DC power systems, and AI.
- Problem Solving / Troubleshooting – solves problems using creativity and innovation (Required).
- Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Required).Communication (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention To Detail (Required).
- Self‑motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
- Leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility with ever‑changing environments and priorities.
- Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on‑call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays.
- At least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.

Base Pay Range: $29.88 – $53.90 per hour. Corporate Bonus Target: 10%.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on location, qualifications, and experience.
