Key Responsibilities
- Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as Vectorworks Spotlight, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Depence to illustrate placement of lighting fixtures, trussing, motor hoists, SFX, stage elements, and other show components.
- Managing data with built‑in database tools in Vectorworks to handle patching, DMX addressing, and fixture schedules.
- Building 3D set models and conducting virtual walkthroughs to visualise scenic elements for presentation to the executive team.
- Liaising with the Design Team to ensure accurate placement of lighting, video, rigging, and other scenic elements.
- Visiting stadiums, arenas, or other locations to take manual measurements and photos to validate that the “as‑built” digital model matches the physical space.
- Converting PDFs of architectural blueprints or art department sketches into functional Vectorworks files.
- 5 to 7+ years of experience managing and designing theater or live event productions, with television production experience strongly preferred.
- Moderate proficiency in CAD‑based design programs; experience with AutoCAD and/or Sketch Up is also desirable.
- Strong 2D and 3D Vectorworks Spotlight skills, including layer and class management.
- Experience in live entertainment, events, or theater.
- Attention to detail: ability to create precise, accurate, and organized technical documents.
- Passion for WWE, sports entertainment, and live entertainment.
- Ability to work traditional and non‑traditional hours.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
