Location:

• Develop knowledge of the NPME role and independently create, implement, and release new product BOMs for complex modules and product structures.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Manage development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium‑complex modules.
• Perform 3D solid model virtual analysis, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock‑Up (DMU).
• Participate in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to drive cost, quality, and cycle‑time goals.
• Orchestrate change requests and execute change‑control processes, including NSRs, ECOs, CCBs, SPSs, and ESWs.
• Document product-related issues and enhancement opportunities, performing Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA) and leading disposition of issues requiring Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA).
• Lead the managed build process for programs and projects.
• Provide technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources, including suppliers related to new product introductions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position may require standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, color discrimination, and operating in noisy environments. It may involve working in a clean room and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.

• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of competitors and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

• Solves complex problems; takes new perspectives on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.

• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies.

• Explains difficult or sensitive information and builds consensus.
• Reviews and manages delta BOMs for new orders on sold systems.
• Creates disassembly and reassembly documents for field technicians.
• Knowledge of SAP, NX, Team Center, and internal program Core+ is very helpful.
• Knowledge of E3s for electrical and fluid‑flow schematics is helpful.
• Potential for new design work for NSO/CES‑type orders.
