Senior Process Engineer

Senior Process Engineer to work on advanced wet processing equipment, with deep expertise in electroplating and fountain plating technologies. This position is focused on lab-based process development – designing and running experiments, optimizing recipes and chamber parameters, and applying DOE and electrochemistry fundamentals to solve complex process problems. This person also serves as a technical resource, mentoring other process and test engineers.

• Process Development
  • Design and execute experiments (DOE) to optimize electroplating recipes and chamber/process parameters
  • Apply electrochemistry fundamentals to diagnose and resolve plating issues
  • Develop and refine fountain plating process techniques
  • Analyze process data and translate findings into process improvements
• Technical Mentorship
  • Serve as subject matter expert on key process parameters and electroplating fundamentals
  • Mentor and train other process and test engineers
  • Review and provide technical guidance on others’ process work
• Customer & Field Support
  • Provide occasional support for complex process issues at customer sites

• 10+ Years Experience in wet process engineering, with specific electroplating experience
• Undergraduate engineering degree from accredited university (Chemical, Materials, others)
• Deep knowledge of key process parameters and electrochemistry
• Strong understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology
• Experience with fountain plating type technologies
• Clean room experience handling wafers of various sizes and types
• Wet Process Experience – understanding safe handling of various chemicals
• Customer communication skills – Understand how to professionally discuss technical details with a customer
• Troubleshooting skills – Ability to rigorously apply model based problem solving and other systematic approaches to difficult problems.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed – Targeted at 5-10% travel.
• Passport for international travel
