Position: Client Relationship Consultant, 2, 3, 4 – Banker

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels, providing counsel with a digital‑first mindset.
  • Earn a relationship based on trust, assessing and meeting customers’ banking needs, and processing account information.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products, recommending solutions aligned with each customer’s goals and needs.
  • Proactively outreach, follow up, and ask questions to learn about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital products and services.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborations with branch team members to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and maintain operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Achieve National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three to four years of job‑related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Strong engagement and communication skills with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that satisfy customers’ needs reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required.
