Pulmonary Function Therapist - FTE

Job Description

Job Summary – Perform Pulmonary Function Testing with an emphasis on providing an exceptional patient experience. Promote and ensure continuity in the quality of Pulmonary Function testing.

• 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing, including quality control measures.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS). Will obtain a BLS card within 6 months of employment if BLS is not current.

• Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed with the National Board of Respiratory Care.

• Current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered Pulmonary Therapist preferred.

• Demonstrate the ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan and use time wisely.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with patients/families who may be under physical and emotional stress.
• Gather and exchange information effectively with nursing personnel, physicians, and customers.
• Ability to enter data accurately using the computer.
• Interpersonal skills and abilities to interact effectively with patients/families who may be under physical/emotional stress.
