Our billing department seeks a detail-oriented Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist to work with our Kalispell team.
Job duties for this position include:
- Ensure a patient's healthcare benefits will cover treatment.
- Understand and communicate insurance coverages and policies.
- Obtain prior authorization for patient procedures.
- Work closely with insurance providers.
- Continuously learn about healthcare coverage options and benefit plans.
- Accurately document patient's insurance verification.
- Other duties may also be assigned to this post.
- Multi-task-oriented with the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
- Fast-paced
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in an office environment where team-members are also on the phones
