At Logan Health, our OB/GYN team is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in women’s health. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to support clinical care, patient communication, care coordination, and day-to-day clinic operations within the OB/GYN department.
This role plays an important part in creating a positive patient experience by assisting providers, preparing patients for exams and procedures, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, documenting accurately, and supporting patients with professionalism, empathy, and respect.

** What You'll Be Doing
*** Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
* Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
* Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
* Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.
** Qualifications**
* ** Licensed Practical Nurse**
* ** Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
** through an accredited certifying organization.

OR
* ** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
** through an accredited certifying organization.
* RQI Provider (BLS) required within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.
** Preferred Experience
*** One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
* Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.
** Professional Qualifications
*** Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
