Sr. Boomi Developer

: 7+ years of experience must be in Boomi development, Boomi Atom Sphere, Java and Boomi Molecule deployments.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Boomi Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Boomi Atom Sphere and Boomi Molecule deployments to support complex integration initiatives across ERP, CRM, HCM, and internal enterprise platforms. This contractor must be capable of independently designing, building, and optimizing integrations with minimal direction—able to research solutions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with partner teams when requirements are incomplete or evolving.

, deep technical expertise in Boomi, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure integrations in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Boomi integrations across multiple platforms and systems
• Build and maintain API-based, event-driven, and batch integrations
• Develop complex data mappings and transformations (XML/JSON/Flat Files)
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and alerting frameworks
• Optimize existing integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to refine requirements
• Support CI/CD automation and release management processes
• Follow integration governance standards and best practices
• Contribute to the modernization and improvement of the overall integration ecosystem

Experience

• 7
  -10+ years of overall enterprise integration experience
• 7+ years of hands-on Boomi development experience
• Proven experience working with Boomi Atom Sphere and Boomi Molecule environments
• Strong background in enterprise system integrations (ERP, CRM, HCM, Finance, etc.)

Boomi Platform Expertise

• Deep hands-on experience with:
• Boomi Atom and Boomi Molecule architecture
• Multi-environment setups (Dev / QA / Prod)
• API Management and API exposure using Boomi
• Listener processes and real-time integrations
• Process deployment, versioning, and promotion strategies
• Reusable components, common frameworks, and Boomi best practices

Scripting Skills (Critical Requirement)

• Strong hands-on expertise in Groovy and/or JavaScript scripting within Boomi processes
• Ability to implement complex custom logic using scripts
• Experience with:

• REST and SOAP APIs
• Web Services Server processes
• Authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth, API Keys)
• SFTP, AS2, HTTP, and message-based integrations
• Event-driven and batch integration patterns
