Desktop Technician – Customer Service
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Desktop Technician Customer Service and support the current desktop computing environment and new projects relevant to Field IT services. The position also serves as the primary contact for substations within the Kalispell district. The technical support role provides assistance over the phone or in person for a wide variety of hardware, software, and site‑specific applications in an enterprise server‑client environment.
This is a 2‑year plus consultant position with high probability of long‑term employment. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Kalispell, MT, 5 days per week.
Hourly rate: $30.75 – $38.59 depending on qualifications (includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09).
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology or related field preferred. With applicable Bachelor’s degree, 6 years of experience required; with an Associate’s degree, 8 years; without a degree, 10 years.
- Experience in Computer/Information Technology or related field.
- 6 years with Microsoft Windows 7 and 10.
- 6 years with desktop/laptop configuration and troubleshooting.
- 6 years with local and network printer configuration and troubleshooting.
- 6 years with desktop security practices, including patching, OS updates, security settings, and anti‑virus/anti‑spy applications.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or Real .
- A+, MCP, MCSE, or other relevant industry certifications preferred; if not certified, must demonstrate relevant knowledge.
- Experience and working knowledge of Terminal Services/Citrix.
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
