Senior Applications Specialist ERP – Day Shift, 8 hours, 40 hours per week.
Location:
Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana.
Following successful on‑site onboarding, the role may transition to a hybrid work arrangement.
- Provide high‑quality customer service and end‑user support, including configuring applications, building system tables/dictionaries, creating user access, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution or escalation across the ERP system.
- Monitor service requests and system functionality, identify problems and root causes, and lead efforts to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Collaborate with end users to implement, optimize, and maintain application systems and content.
- Serve as project manager for implementation, support, and integration of healthcare information systems.
- Participate in system planning, design, build, testing, training, and go‑live activities.
- Manage work plans, timelines, and project tasks while coordinating with users, vendors, and leadership.
- Facilitate project teams and guide decision‑making across departments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Translate clinical and operational needs into functional system requirements.
- Act as liaison between end users and software vendors.
- Assist with development of system interfaces, workflow design, table mapping, specification development, integrated testing, and improvements.
- Support change management, production system updates, and documentation.
- Stay current with health‑care technology trends and pursue professional development opportunities.
- Must have either a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, or related field; or 5+ years of healthcare IT or related industry experience.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Current Oracle Fusion certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Demonstrated project management experience implementing software application systems.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize workloads.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and discretion with confidential information.
- Solid understanding of personal computers and common software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with hospital or clinic application systems.
- Experience with Meditech and/or Oracle Fusion.
- Experience supporting software application implementation and optimization.
- Familiarity with database structures, reporting tools, or data‑management systems.
- Knowledge of health‑care workflows and clinical operations.
