Buyer (Full-Time)
Position Summary

Buyer will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and maintaining purchasing, inventory, and pricing reports to support accounting and procurement operations. The role requires accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.

• Review and manage purchasing, inventory, and pricing reports for accounting purposes
• Assist purchasing team members with report generation and data analysis
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records (ERP system experience preferred)
• Verify purchase and work orders for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery timelines and order status
• Research and resolve discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and pricing variances
• Perform additional purchasing and procurement-related duties as needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Strong math and analytical skills (pricing, discounts, cost calculations)
• Excellent attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry/typing skills
• Strong clerical and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills with vendors and internal teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

• Ability to perform desk-based and computer work
• Ability to communicate clearly via phone and email with suppliers
• Ability to read and write in English at a 12th-grade level or higher
• Strong spreadsheet and data management experience required

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience.
