Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to grow within the company.
Job Requirements- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have at least 3 years of driving record.
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Requires motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Tips paid out daily.
- Standing:
Most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include tile; height of work surfaces is between 36 and 42 . - Walking:
Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more unloaded by hand truck; deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds. Cases usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 high. - Carrying:
Large cans (3 lbs 7 oz) carried to storage shelves; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 lbs carried from storage to front; trays of dough carried three at a time weighing ~12 lbs per tray. - Pushing:
Move trays on dollies; stacks of trays on a dolly approximate 24
-30 and require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled. - Climbing:
Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform maintenance. - Forward bending at waist necessary at pizza assembly station; duration 30-45 seconds repeated throughout the day. Forward bending also at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
- Crouching/Squatting:
Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. - Reaching:
Performed continuously up, down, and forward. Workers reach above 72 occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on signs, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reach down to scoop cornmeal from a plastic barrel or wash dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones. - Hand tasks:
Eye‑hand coordination essential. Use of hands continuous during the day. Frequent activities require use of one or both hands; shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Manipulation of a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven and when using the rolling cutter. Frequent pinching required in assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Must be able to grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
