Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead federal construction projects, oversee recruitment, mentor craft employees, and collaborate with regional and construction management teams to drive execution while upholding core values.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a project team to meet customer expectations and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Drive profitability through effective project execution and monitoring financial forecasts.
  • Monitor project progress, financial performance, and manage cost overruns, proposing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Project Superintendents to create detailed project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Review contractual requirements and communicate regularly with customers regarding all project aspects.
  • Prepare and present potential change orders to clients and maintain project budget.
  • Oversee installation of electrical/industrial systems, perform site inspections to monitor quality and progress, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Promote safety standards on-site; conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with codes.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring collaboration.
  • Prepare monthly schedule of values submissions and lead procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and documentation from local authorities.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for upper management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain all documentation, certifications, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate completed projects to identify lessons learned and implement best practices.
  • Maintain and develop business opportunities and external relations with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and end users.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of proven project management experience in industrial construction.
  • Specific experience with federal/military (USACE) and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial construction (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously (preferred).
  • PMP or relevant project management certification desired.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, Viewpoint).
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • External work environment; exposure to extreme temperatures and noise.
  • Work in manufacturing and industrial environments; fit in confined spaces, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Lifting equipment and materials 1–50 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and background check required if driving is required.
