Throughout the mid-west and south, we have cabinet design showrooms and granite counter top fabrication shops with state‑of‑the‑art fabricating and install equipment. Sims‑Lohman is hiring granite fabricators, or general laborers with a willingness to learn a new trade to work on 1st shift!

* This position is 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
* MUST BE OKAY WITH WORKING OVERTIME!

• Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and other manufacturing equipment
• Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimension
• Learn other jobs in the shop

• Must have a demonstrated GOOD Attendance record
• 2+ years experience polishing countertops
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinders
• Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
• Ability to work with heavy weight materials
• Ability to operate machinery is a plus, but not required
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen

Do you have at least one year of experience in Construction, working with Hand Tools, working in Manufacturing, Working in Granite, or as a Machine Operator?
