Cleanroom Assembly Technician
Location: Kalispell, Montana
Pay: $18–$21 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10‑hour shifts);
Second Shift Monday – Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, 10% differential. Onsite position.
This entry‑level position requires little to no prior experience and offers hands‑on training in a clean, high‑tech environment. We are seeking detail‑oriented individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
Position OverviewYou will perform electro‑mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and basic repairs under close supervision with clearly defined tasks and detailed instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical components and subassemblies
- Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and verbal instructions
- Perform go/no‑go testing using fixtures and basic electronic test equipment
- Adjust, align, and calibrate components to meet required tolerances
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble units as needed
- Use hand tools and fixtures to install and connect parts such as wiring, switches, motors, tubing, and mechanical components
- Identify and correct defects and ensure product quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Package completed products to prevent damage
This role is performed in a cleanroom setting. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for the entire shift, including coveralls, hood, gloves, booties, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear. The environment is clean, structured, and focused on precision and quality.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and working in tight spaces
- Use of hand and power tools
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Comfortable working in a production environment with noise
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Up to 1 year of experience or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
