Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain efficient plant operations.
- Monitor process controls, gauges, and equipment performance to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Collect product samples according to standard operating procedures and perform or coordinate quality testing.
- Make process adjustments based on quality results and operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate production records, equipment logs, and shift documentation.
- Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Assist with minor equipment repairs and identify maintenance needs.
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment, as required.
- Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements (if applicable), and environmental regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production issues to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Take initiative and work efficiently.
- Are dependable and motivated to perform at a high level.
- Have a strong attention to detail.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Are willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.
- Can understand and follow rules, procedures, and safety policies.
- Have basic reading, math, and communication skills.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided).
- Ability to carry 50 pounds, lift up to 65 pounds, push/pull up to 120 pounds.
This is a hands‑on industrial position. Candidates should be comfortable:
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Working around grain dust and industrial equipment.
- Climbing ladders and stairs up to 120 feet high.
- Working rotating 12‑hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Typical schedule:
rotating swing shifts (8 a.m.–8 p.m./8 p.m.–8 a.m.) with multiple consecutive workdays followed by multiple days off.
