Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Kalispell, Montana

Contract Duration: 18 months

Onsite: 100%

Pay Rate: $18–$19 per hour

Shift: First Shift – Monday–Thursday (10 hrs) – 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to build subassemblies and process equipment for semiconductor and display manufacturing. These components are critical to producing advanced electronic devices such as smartphones, computers, and televisions.

• Assemble, repair, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations and identify/correct errors.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and clean room protocols.
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps for testing.
• Enter progress and labor details into computer systems accurately.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure all necessary components are available for builds.
• Actively prevent accidents and injuries by following safety procedures and reporting hazards promptly.

• Use of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; walking, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Lifting and operating heavy machinery (including forklifts).
• Willingness to work in clean room conditions and wear personal protective equipment (coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields).
