Manufacturing Technician I – Electropolish & Critical Cleaning
Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician I – Electropolish & Critical Cleaning for their Kalispell, MT location.
Responsibilities:- The Manufacturing Technician I – Electropolish & Critical Cleaning is responsible for supporting the cleaning, electropolishing, inspection, packaging, and processing of components used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- This entry-level role works within controlled manufacturing and cleanroom environments, following documented procedures to ensure parts meet customer, quality, and contamination control requirements.
- The technician will receive on-the-job training in electropolishing processes, critical cleaning specifications, packaging requirements, and clean manufacturing practices.
- Perform component cleaning, rinsing, drying, electropolishing, and packaging operations according to approved manufacturing procedures.
- Follow critical cleaning specifications and contamination control requirements.
- Operate cleaning equipment, chemical processing tanks, DI water systems, and associated tooling under supervision.
- Inspect parts for cleanliness, workmanship, surface condition, and packaging requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records, travelers, routing transactions, and quality documentation.
- Package components using approved materials and methods to prevent contamination or damage.
- Support cleanroom operations by following gowning procedures and contamination control standards.
- Identify nonconforming conditions and escalate issues to leads, engineers, or quality personnel.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area following 6S and safety requirements.
- Assist with process improvement activities focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Support inventory, material movement, and work center housekeeping activities as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn manufacturing systems.
- Ability to work independently after training while following established procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
- Familiarity with quality inspections, hand tools, or chemical processing equipment.
- Experience with ERP, MES, or manufacturing tracking systems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow procedures consistently.
