LINE
49 | RIFLE is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Production Operator to join our rifle barrel manufacturing team.

• CNC machine operation
• Manufacturing or machining experience
• Haas CNC equipment
• Precision measuring equipment
• Metalworking or firearms manufacturing experience

Previous CNC or machining experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

This position works within our production barrel line operating CNC equipment used in the manufacturing of precision rifle barrels.

• Operate CNC production equipment within the rifle barrel manufacturing line
• Load and unload barrel blanks and components
• Follow established machine programs, work instructions, and production procedures
• Perform routine measurements and quality checks using precision measuring equipment
• Monitor machines during operation and identify abnormalities, tooling issues, or quality concerns
• Make approved tooling offsets and adjustments as required
• Inspect finished operations to ensure parts remain within specification
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Change tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as trained
• Keep machines, tooling, and surrounding work areas clean and organized
• Handle barrel blanks and finished components carefully to prevent damage
• Work with other members of the production team to maintain efficient workflow
• Immediately report equipment, tooling, dimensional, or quality concerns

• Ability to follow written procedures and established processes consistently
• Comfortable working independently once trained
  
  Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers
• Willingness to ask questions rather than guess when something does not look right
• Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive precision manufacturing work
• Pride in workmanship and personal accountability for the quality of parts produced

Programming experience is considered an asset but is not required.

49 | RIFLE is a precision rifle manufacturer based in Kalispell, Montana. We manufacture critical rifle components in-house and are continuing to expand our machining and barrel manufacturing capabilities.

We are looking for people who want to learn, improve, and grow with the company. This is a hands-on production position where quality, consistency, productivity, and attention to detail matter every day.

Compensation: Dependent on experience

Schedule: Full-time;
Monday
- Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
