Deburrer
The deburrer is responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from metal or manufactured parts using hand tools and basic equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions accurately, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from metal and manufactured parts using hand tools and basic equipment.
- Use deburring tools and grinding equipment to finish parts to specified quality standards.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions to complete tasks accurately and consistently.
- Inspect parts visually and by feel to ensure surfaces are smooth and meet quality requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate small grinders and related tools in a controlled and careful manner.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including a simple respirator when required.
- Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalispell, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
