Shift: Fill in as needed on Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Position

Purpose:

Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare services to patients in collaboration with the physician(s) at the Family Medical Center. Works as a member of the healthcare team, takes medical histories, examines and treats patients, orders/interprets laboratory tests and x-rays, makes diagnoses, and prescribes medications. Treats minor injuries by suturing, splinting, and casting. Records progress notes, instructs and educates patients, and orders or carries out therapy.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited for Advance Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant Training.
• Licensure: IL Advanced Practice Nurse License; IL Controlled Substance License.
• Certification: AANP or ANCC Board Certified; NCCPA Certification.
• Experience: Prior experience in clinic setting preferred;
  Electronic Medical Records experience required.
• Skills & Abilities: Computer skills;
  Excellent customer service skills;
  Written communication and listening skills;
  Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages.

Wage Rate: $70.00/HR, based on experience and specific position.
