Seasonal Position Details
- Full‑time work schedule required for a minimum of 13 weeks (36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts)
- 15% Seasonal Premium
- Additional night and weekend shift differential pay
- Eligible for 401(k)
- Fitness center membership discount – $29.75 per month
- $1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 30 days in position
- $1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 60 days in position
- $2,000 Seasonal Completion Bonus
- No health benefits offered
- Seasonal RN with at least 2 years of applicable nursing experience on the unit assigned
- Current Montana RN license or compact license required
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Inpatient experience
- RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care
- PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
- APHON certification required within 1 year of hire
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Desire to provide care across the pediatric spectrum in a supportive, team‑based setting
Specific Duties
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal‑directed nursing care using the nursing process
- Maintain nursing standards of care and respond to changing workloads and patient conditions by remaining calm, making objective assessments, prioritizing, and seeking assistance as appropriate
- Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments accurately and efficiently
- Consistently problem‑solve issues affecting patient care
- Exhibit thorough infection control procedures per policy and procedure
- Identify, verbally evaluate, and report reaction changes in patients’ physical and mental conditions
- Document all encounters with patients and families according to organizational standards, demonstrating the nursing process
- Provide individual instruction and education to patients and families concerning health and medical needs per department protocol
- Assess and anticipate patient needs, coordinate necessary interventions as defined by policy and provider orders
Night shift (12‑hour) for a 13‑week seasonal full‑time schedule of 36 hours per week.
