** Are you an experienced RN with pediatric inpatient experience? Are you looking for a short term, seasonal opportunity?
** Logan Health Children's, located in scenic Kalispell, MT, is looking for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Pediatric Inpatient Team on night shift!

** Seasonal Position Details:**
* ** Full-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week period**
* ** 15% Premium (Seasonal Premium)**
* ** Additional night and weekend shift differential pay**

Minimum Qualification:

**
* ** Seasonal RN must have 2 years applicable nursing experience to the unit assigned
***
* What You’ll Need:

*** Current Montana RN license or compact license required
* Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Inpatient experience required
* RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
* PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
* APHON must be obtained within 1 year of hire/transfer.
* Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
* Desire to provide care across the pediatric spectrum in a supportive, team-based setting

Specific Duties :
*** Develops, implements and coordinates  individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process as appropriate for RN’s as applicable to the assigned area(s).
* Maintains nursing standards of care and responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by:  remaining calm, making objective assessments, prioritizing, and asking for assistance as appropriate.
* Transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments both verbal and written accurately and efficiently as noted by chart reviews and observation. Consistently problem solves issues affecting patient care.
* Exhibits a thorough practice of infection control procedures per policy and procedure as applicable to the assigned area(s).
* Identifies, verbally evaluates, and reports identified reaction changes in the stated physical and mental conditions of patients.
* Documents all encounters with patients seeking health advice according to organizational standards, while clearly demonstrating the nuarsing process.
* Provides individual instruction and education to patients and families concerning health and medical needs per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
* Assesses and anticipates the needs of the patient, and coordinates the necessary interventions as defined by policy, procedure and the written/verbal orders of the provider as applicable to assigned area(s).
* Consistently problem solves issues effecting patient care.
