Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA Certificate required.
• Current Heartsaver AED required.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Professional communication skills with diverse populations.
• Tact, diplomacy, compassion with all individuals.
• Good judgment, integrity, maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws, including HIPAA.

• Delivers basic patient care under the guidance of the RN/LPN on the unit.
• Communicates with the RN/LPN to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Performs accurate CNA assessment and records patient vital signs.
• Informs RN/LPN of any abnormal vital signs or changes in condition.
• Maintains patient privacy per KRMC policies.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ambulation, transferring, eating, grooming).
• Monitors patients’ activity to prevent harm.
• Documents care promptly according to policy.
• Assists RN/LPN with restocking rooms and supply areas.
• Maintains equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Helps RN/LPN maintain compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards.
• Sets and maintains priorities for patient care tasks with RN/LPNs.
• Adheres to customer service policies with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
• Makes other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled.

Day Shift – 12 hours.

Schedule:

Days, 0.9 FTE (36 hrs/wk).
