Overview
Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). Coordinates care with other disciplines. This position serves adult, geriatric and pediatric populations.

- Current Montana CNA Certificate required.
- Current Heartsaver AED required.
- Acute Care experience preferred.
- Must possess professional communication skills, and work effectively with a diverse customer and coworker population.
- Must employ tact, diplomacy and compassion with all types of people.
- Must use good judgment, apply a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.
- Delivers basic patient care under the guidance and direction of the RN/LPN on the unit to safely meet the needs of the patient(s).
- Communicates with the RN/LPN in an effort to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
- Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient’s vital signs. Informs the RN/LPN assigned to the patient of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient’s condition.
- Maintains patient privacy as defined by KRMC policies and procedures.
- Assists patient with activities of daily living such as ambulation, transferring to a chair, eating, grooming, etc. Monitors patients’ activity to prevent them from harm.
- Documents in a timely and efficient manner the care rendered to the patient as defined by KRMC policy and procedures.
- Assists the RN/LPN in maintaining unit function by restocking rooms and supply areas.
- Maintains equipment in patient care rooms for safety and cleanliness.
- Assists the RN/LPN with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
- Works with the RN/LPNs to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
- Adheres to and upholds all organizational customer service policies and standards while caring for patients, their families and interacting with co‑workers and physicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule3/12 hr Nights
Work EnvironmentLogan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
