As a Seasonal PACU RN, you will care for patients during the important transition from the operating room to recovery, providing close monitoring, assessment, and intervention during the immediate post-anesthesia period. You’ll collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, procedural teams, and experienced nurses to ensure safe patient outcomes and exceptional care throughout the surgical journey.

** Seasonal Agreement Details**
* ** Assignment Length:
** 13-week seasonal agreement
* ** Schedule Commitment:
** 30 hours per week
* ** Shift Expectations:
** Primarily three 10-hour day shifts per week
* ** Call Requirement:
** Approximately 4–5 call shifts per month
* ** Seasonal Premium Pay:
** 15% premium added to base pay
* ** Additional
Incentives:
** + $1,000 bonus after successful completion of 30 days + $1,000 bonus after successful completion of 60 days + $2,000 completion bonus at the end of the seasonal assignment
* ** Differentials:
** Eligible shift differentials available based on scheduled hours

* Seasonal assignment details are tentative and may be adjusted based on organizational and departmental needs.
*** What You’ll Do
** As a PACU RN, you will:
* Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
* Complete focused assessments and continuously monitor patients during the immediate post-operative period.
* Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly with appropriate interventions.
* Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, procedural teams, and nursing colleagues to support safe transitions of care.
* Provide education, reassurance, and support to patients and families throughout the recovery process.
* Maintain accurate documentation while delivering care that reflects Logan Health’s commitment to safety, quality, and excellence.
Specific duties and responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs. Other duties may be assigned consistent with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
** What You’ll Bring
*** Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
* Recent acute care nursing experience.
* PACU experience preferred; ICU, ED, critical care, or other high-acuity nursing experience strongly considered.
* Strong assessment skills and the ability to care for patients with changing clinical needs.
* Commitment to teamwork, compassionate care, and clinical excellence.
