At Logan Health Brendan House, the Skilled Nursing team is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and compassionate environment. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care needs, promote comfort and safety, and assist the care team in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Obtain and report vital signs, document care accurately, and maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
- Communicate with nursing leadership and team members to coordinate resident care priorities and report changes in condition.
- Help maintain inventory by restocking supplies and ensuring equipment cleanliness and safety.
- Support compliance with Medicare and applicable regulatory standards.
- Assist with maintenance of a supportive team environment, working alongside nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Current Montana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
- Current CPR certification applicable to the assigned area.
- Knowledge of confidentiality laws (including HIPAA) governing provider–patient relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to set priorities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn other software systems as needed.
- Preferred:
Previous healthcare experience, Home Health Aide certification, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire if applicable.
- Background check (criminal, reference).
- Drug screening.
- Health and immunization screening.
- Physical demand review/screening.
