Job Description:
Join a renowned pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) team as a registered nurse for a 13-week contract in Kalispell, Montana. This role offers the chance to work in a Level III Trauma Center with 18 beds, including a dedicated 6-bed PICU that cares for critically ill children with respiratory support, neurological conditions, and various medical and surgical diagnoses. The shift is 12 hours during night hours, providing a unique opportunity to experience pediatric critical care with a mix of independent and team-based responsibilities.
You will perform advanced patient care procedures such as starting IVs, managing ventilators and trachs, dressing changes, and medication drips, while supporting a well-equipped department that includes pediatric residents, hospitalists, and 24/7 specialist coverage. This assignment is perfect for a seasoned PICU nurse seeking a rewarding, fast-paced environment where no two shifts are the same—and you’ll be part of a close-knit staff dedicated to pediatric excellence.
