Are you an experienced RN ready to grow your leadership skills without giving up bedside nursing? Unlike traditional nursing leadership positions, our Inpatient Supervisors remain actively engaged in patient care while serving as the clinical leader for their assigned shift. Working alongside a team of supervisors, you'll support unit operations, mentor staff, assist with patient flow and staffing decisions, and serve as a resource during complex clinical situations—all while maintaining a strong connection to bedside nursing.

Our Surgical Unit cares for a wide range of patients, including Orthopedic, Neurology, Thoracic, Urology, and Surgical Oncology populations. Leaders on this unit have the opportunity to support nurses caring for patients recovering from complex surgical procedures as well as oncology patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy and specialized treatments. As an RN Supervisor, you'll help guide clinical care, support team development, and influence outcomes for some of the most complex patients in the organization while remaining connected to bedside nursing.

Lead a shift while maintaining meaningful bedside involvement and clinical practice.

Remain actively involved in patient care while building leadership experience.

Serve as a trusted clinical resource and mentor for fellow nurses and support staff.

As an RN Supervisor, you'll balance bedside nursing with unit leadership responsibilities by:

• Coordinating daily patient care operations and staffing activities.
• Supporting nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the shift.
• Assisting with complex patient situations and clinical decision-making.
• Promoting patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Serving as a leader during high-acuity situations and operational challenges.
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of team members.
• Helping create a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered environment.

You are an experienced nurse who enjoys supporting others, solving problems, and helping teams succeed.

You lead by example, communicate effectively, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while helping shape the future of nursing on your unit.

Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

36 hours/week, 3 12-hour Night shifts

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
