Logan Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as an RN Specialty Navigator in our Lung Nodule Clinic!
This important role will work with patients of our Lung Nodule Clinic in scenic Kalispell, MT. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse passionate about helping patients navigate their complex care. Previous pulmonary experience is a plus!

* Qualifications:
**
* ** Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
*** Minimum of six (6) years’ nursing experience.
* ** Minimum of four (4) years’ recent specialty experience in a minimum of one (1) of the identified specialty areas required:** + Cardiology + Clinical + Endocrinology + Gastro + Oncology + Orthopedics + Pediatrics + Pulmonology + Surgery
* ** Pulmonary nursing experience is preferred
*** RQI Provider within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
* Knowledge of professional practice standards and regulatory requirements as related to specialty care area required.
* Knowledge and experience with electronic health records required.
* Must function with a high degree of autonomy, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to develop and implement community education, outreach programs/workshops and seminars as defined for assigned specialty area required.
* Possess ability to comprehensively assess patient’s psychosocial status and demonstrate an understanding of the physiological disease practice as defined for assigned specialty area(s) required.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Primary Care teams and/or multidisciplinary care teams required.
* Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
* Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
* Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
* Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
* Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Specific Duties :
*** Evaluates the needs and coordinates the care of the patient through the continuum of care by ensuring patient needs are met.
* Works closely with members of the multidisciplinary care team and their recommendations. Exhibits professionalism and accuracy in interfacing with providers, clinic staff, patients, and family members involved in the plan of care.
* Documents interaction per professional standards related to pre/post care and/or survivorship plan as applicable. Assesses the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the patient and family.
