Job Description:
This registered nurse role in the oncology unit offers a chance to work in a busy surgical floor dedicated to inpatient oncology and surgical patients. The position involves administering chemotherapy, managing post-surgical recovery, and supporting complex patient needs with specialized skills like epidural care, PICC line management, and wound care. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts for 13 weeks, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a setting where teamwork and attention to detail are vital.
The assignment provides an opportunity to gain valuable oncology and chemo experience while working in a facility known for its collaborative atmosphere and evolving patient care capabilities.
