Logan Health Medical Center is seeking an experienced
** Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
** to provide compassionate, skilled care to mothers and newborns in our Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit in Kalispell, Montana!

Our team supports more than 650 births each year and serves as the primary high-risk delivery site for Northwest Montana. You will care for patients through antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum while working alongside an experienced, collaborative obstetrics team. Logan Health Children's and our NICU are located on the same medical campus, providing continuity of care and additional support when newborns require a higher level of care.

What You Will Do
* Provide individualized nursing care to antepartum, laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns.
* Assess patients, develop and update care plans, implement treatments and evaluate outcomes using the nursing process.
* Recognize and respond to changes in maternal and newborn conditions, prioritize care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
* Receive training to circulate in the operating room for cesarean deliveries, with support from dedicated OB surgical technicians.
* Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, recovery and the postpartum period.
* Coordinate care and communicate effectively with providers, patients, families and other members of the care team.
* Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety, infection-prevention and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications
* Current Montana RN license or a multistate compact RN license with authorization to practice in Montana required.
* Previous Labor and Delivery or LDRP nursing experience required. Only candidates with relevant obstetric nursing experience will be considered.
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
* ACLS and NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
* STABLE and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) must be obtained within 1 year of hire/transfer.
* RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
* Additional certifications may be required based on the assigned area.
* Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, organization and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
* Working knowledge of patient confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.
* Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn required clinical software.

Full-time, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
