Logan Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Logan Health Same Day Surgery team. As a Same Day Surgery RN, you'll help patients feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way, ensuring a safe and seamless experience throughout their procedure. Our Mission:

As a Same Day Surgery RN, you'll guide patients through one of the most important parts of their healthcare journey - providing compassionate care, education, reassurance, and clinical expertise before and after surgery.

- Coordinate and deliver individualized patient care using the nursing process
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changing conditions
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-procedure care as appropriate
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, PACU staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document patient care and implement provider orders
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and patient safety
- Anticipate patient needs, prioritize effectively, and respond confidently in a fast-paced environment

- Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
- BSN preferred
- Two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinic, physician office, hospital, surgical services, or related healthcare setting preferred
- Current RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or prior to independent patient care
- Working knowledge of nursing practice, patient care standards, infection prevention, HIPAA regulations, and clinical safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, written, and computer skills

Shift: Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule:
40-hours per week, 4 10-hour Day shifts. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
