** 36-bed Progressive Care Unit**, where nurses care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and specialized treatment than a traditional medical-surgical floor can provide.  PCU nurses care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, sepsis, diabetic keto acidosis, respiratory illnesses, and those recovering from open-heart surgery and advanced cardiovascular procedures. This dynamic environment offers the opportunity to develop advanced assessment, telemetry, and critical thinking skills while working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
