Shift supervisor, Retail

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. In the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

• Management
  :
  Work effectively with store management and store crews; supervise the crew through assigning, directing, and following up of all activities; effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
• Customer Service
  :
  Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank); handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers; maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise / Presentation
  :
  Price merchandise; stock shelves; execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise; reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Anticipated Weekly

Hours:

15 hours (Part‑time). Pay Range: $16.00–$23.00 per hour. This part‑time position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs that support physical, emotional, and financial well‑being, including dental, vision, wellness resources, employee discounts, voluntary benefits and other programs.
